WASHINGTON, DC – The Hispanic Heritage Foundation (HHF) and Google will host a LOFT Coding Jam Session on February 21st at the Cesar Chavez Public Charter Schools’ Parkside Campus, 3701 Hayes St, NE, in Washington, DC.
A STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) Symposium featuring a panel of diverse STEM professionals will also take place. The free, bilingual Jam Session will instruct minority youth on how to code using HTML and CSS with hip-hop, jazz and salsa music playing in the background with hundreds of students and their parents in attendance. A Google Chromebook laptop will be provided to the student with the best idea to make a positive impact on their community.
